Elle assure la représentation diplomatique de Wallonie-Bruxelles au Sénégal, avec accréditation au Bénin et au Burkina Faso.
La Délégation générale Wallonie-Bruxelles au Sénégal a aussi pour tâche principale la mise en œuvre et le suivi des programmes et projets de coopération développés dans ces pays, qui ont notamment trait à la culture, à l’éducation, à la recherche scientifique, à la coopération interuniversitaire, à la jeunesse, à la santé, au sport, au tourisme, à l’environnement et à la formation professionnelle. Depuis Dak’Art 2022, la Délégation accueille des expositions dans ses espaces multifonctionnels, la grande salle et le jardin.
The Delegation ensures the diplomatic representation of Wallonia-Brussels in Senegal, with accreditation to Benin and Burkina Faso.
The Wallonia-Brussels General Delegation in Senegal also has a major task in implementing and monitoring cooperation programs and projects developed in these countries, which largely involve culture, education, scientific research, inter-university cooperation, youth, health, sports, tourism, the environment, and vocational training. Since Dak’Art 2022, the Delegation has hosted exhibitions in its multifunctional spaces, the great hall and the garden.

Signes Et Symboles, Entre Imaginaires Et Realite, Qui Suis-Je ?
Matar Ndour, Abdou Ndukur Kacc Ndao
Matar Ndour, Ethno-photographe sénégalais en compagnie du Socio-Anthropologue Abdou Ndukur Kacc Ndao (arraché à notre affection le vendredi 6 septembre 2024), parcourt depuis 15 ans, le territoire sénégambien et bissaoguinéen ; des itinéraires initiatiques magnifiquement illustrés dans leur beau livre « From Tenda to Ajamat ». L’exposition « Signes et Symboles » en collaboration avec Echo Communication, est la résultante d’une résidence photographique de Matar Ndour dans le Kassa sur la valorisation et la préservation du patrimoine Joola, des types et modèles d’héritage toujours vivaces.
Matar Ndour, a Senegalese Ethno-photographer, and Socio-Anthropologist Abdou Ndukur Kacc Ndao (gone on Friday, September 6, 2024), have traveled through the Senegambian and Bissau-Guinean lands for 15 years. The initiatory itineraries are magnificently illustrated in their beautiful book "From Tenda to Ajamat". The "Signs and Symbols” exhibition, in collaboration with Echo Communication, is the result of a photographic residency by Matar Ndour in Kassa on the promotion and preservation of the Joola heritage, heritage types and models that are still very much alive.
Vernissage le mercredi 13 novembre a 18h, précédé d’une table ronde à 17h sur le thème : « Patrimoine en déperdition : la laudation ».
Exposition du 12 au 22 novembre 2024, suivi de l’exposition d’Ina Makosi.
